After completing this exercise, you shall be able to create:
• Alt tags for images.
• Meta tags using tools.
• Sitemap of a website.
Task 1:
Create a Word document and write the following things;
1. Consider the above image and think of 2 keywords relevant to the image as Alt tags.
2. Name the picture and write description of the given image in 2 to 3 sentences.
Task 2:
1. Select a website of your own choice and consider home page of the selected website.
2. Open SEOBook tool by visiting http://tools.seobook.com/meta-medic/.
3. Fill the title, description and keyword fields relevant to the selected webpage.
4. Click on Create META tags and take a screenshot of the result.
5. Paste the screenshot in the Word document.
Task 3:
1. Consider the website you selected in Task 2.
2. Generate a sitemap for the selected website using online tool i.e. https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/
3. Paste the URL of the selected website in the input field and click on Start.
4. Click on “view sitemap details” and take the screenshots of the sitemap.
5. Paste the screenshots in the MS Word file.
6. Submit the exercise.
