 Use Google Trends for advanced Keyword research
 Compare different trending search terms
 Perform Keyword Research for YouTube
 Do Keyword research for YouTube using search operators

Problem Statement:

In this exercise, you will find keyword trends using Google Trends tool. Also, you will practice keyword research for YouTube videos using auto suggestion method and search operators.

Task 1: Use Google Trends to perform advanced keyword Research.

1. Open the Google trends by visiting the URL (https://trends.google.com/)

2. Select the United State as targeted Geo location from the top right corner.

3. Enter the keyword Mobile Phones in search box and press enter.

4. Take the screen shots of the results and paste it in a word document.

Task 2: Perform comparison between two different search terms i.e.,

Mobile Phones and Smart Phones and select the keyword having high average searches according to the Graph.

1. Add 2nd keyword (Smart phones) in compare search field and press enter.

2. Select the Keyword having high searches and write down in the Word document.

3. Take the screenshots of the results and paste it in the word document.

Task 3: Perform keywords research for YouTube videos using YouTube Auto Suggestions method.

1. Visit the Youtube.com and start typing the keyword Pizza Recipe in YouTube Search bar.

2. Take a screenshot of the autosuggested search terms provided by YouTube, while typing your targeted keyword and past that in the word document.

Task 4: Perform the keywords research for YouTube videos using search operators.

1. Use the Underscore sign (_) before your search term “Pizza Recipe” in YouTube Search bar as shown in the example below:
_pizza recipe

2. YouTube Autosuggestions will also show the keywords that people add before the search term Pizza Recipe.

3. Take the screenshots of the results and paste them in the Word document.
4. Submit the exercise.
