Learning Outcome:
After completing this exercise, you shall be able to:
Convert a low-resolution raster image into a high-resolution vector graphic by tracing it in Adobe
Illustrator.
Draw shapes using pen tool, pathfinder tool and shapes (rectangle, ellipse, polygon, etc.)
Use eyedropper tool and how to take a sample color from an image and apply it on the vector
graphics
Problem Statement:
1. Trace one of the three cartoon characters provided in the link given below:

2. You can use different tools, such as pen tool, shape tool, pathfinder tool, eyedropper tool and shape
builder tool, etc.
3. After completing the task, take a screenshot of the character.
4. Also take a screenshot of the Layer Panel for each step.
5. Insert all the screenshots of above-mentioned tasks in an MS Word file and upload it on the LMS. (MS
Word file is mandatory)
